Hang Onto Your Hats (But Not Your Masks!) Twin Flame Energy Update: 18th October 2021

Hey! Welcome back to another energy update for twin flames. I apologise for being unable to do the update last week - I fully intended to but life was pretty damn intense and it's taken me until now to be able to process everything and formulate my thoughts coherently in order to share them with you.

I hope you had a fantastic week. For me, and so many others, it was a time of accelerated understanding, purging and growth. October is indeed an intense month for deep core healing! I'm sure you've been feeling it too.

For this week's update, I will be using the traditional Rider Waite tarot to assist us in our exploration of the current energies. 

So, lets get straight into it...

Five of Pentacles

The theme right now for twin flames is the release of patterns concerning avoidance. Twins are being challenged to emerge from their protective shells more so than ever before. They are ready to coalesce with courage in a much deeper way than before in order to become open, to bloom into greater authenticity and dare to be more real with the people closest to them, which of course, also includes each other. 

This emergence from the prison of fear surrounding their authenticity is happening intensely right now and it will continue to advance in leaps and bounds over time.

From as far back as early childhood, when they experienced painful trauma, their instincts forced the twins to create protective walls around themselves. It was not safe to be fully open, fully themselves, authentic. They had to create a thick wall in the form of a persona that would protect them from the possibility of the trauma recurring. And thus a pattern was created that would become so ingrained, that as time went on, they forgot it was a persona hiding their true selves deep within. 

They would spend the rest of their lives, (up until now) driven by their subconscious, the part of their mind trying to protect them from experiencing the trauma again. This meant they continued to hide themselves just to feel okay. They had to abandon their need for authentic expression in order to survive. 

As depicted within the Five of Pentacles, because of their need for such survival mechanisms, they lost their closeness to their family. As a child, they were devastated to feel so incredibly isolated. Their heart had closed in order to be okay, but in the process they felt the intense pain of the ever-growing separation between themselves and their family. Deep within, they felt all alone.

For the majority, this pattern carries on into adulthood. It becomes second nature to be the mask, to feel it's not safe to be the real self and thus, experience all kinds of connections with family, friends, partners etc where there is still so much mask blocking the ability for a far more deeper and authentic relationship to unfold. The relationship is hindered, limited by the mask. Anything beyond that feels intensely scary. Everything feels much safer when coming from the safety of the mask. 

In many relationships, it's an interaction between two masks, which after a while, begins to feel deeply flawed, like there is something missing in the relationship. There is only so much fulfilment you can achieve in a relationship that can only go to the depth of a safe mask. 

Right now for twin flames, the deep core self is yearning to come alive, to be seen, to be loved and totally accepted by another. The soul is searching for the safety it needs, to be totally open and vulnerable in it's true expression and to be held by another's true presence during the scary process of unveiling the deep soul self.

The soul searches for someone where the person can feel safe, nurtured and approved of in order to come alive. They long for the one who can best support their steps into true authentic expression in the world. Upon meeting each other, the twins feel they have met the right person to help with their liberation as they step into this beautiful unfoldment together. 

That is why it is so important to love unconditionally in these connections, lest you become another person that they feel unsafe around and thus retreat into their safe castle of thick walls to protect themselves again. 

Another aspect of the childhood trauma that is important to understand is that the consequent loneliness happens for a good and spiritual reason. Through such adversity, at such a young age, the child is forced to retreat inwards for the love and approval of God. This will happen on a subconscious level. The child appears to become somewhat of a loner, but in reality, they gravitate towards the inner world, where they feel safe with the inner (soul) family. They feel the love of their true family deep within and this is what helps them stay connected to their true soul self.  

In a world where it is all too easy to get caught up and consumed by the social matrix, the child who knows how to go inwards will always maintain a strong bond with the dimensions beyond the earth plane illusions, held and protected by the infinite (soul) family that nurture them as they grow on this path, eventually leading them into true authentic expression in the world. The twins are an outer and inner reflection of the soul family as they both are born from it. 

A deep subconscious part of them is so connected to their true core nature, that they yearn for and eventually attract the one who is so similar to them, a mirror, a person who is also so connected to their own core self deep within, yet who also understands the great difficulties of going through life trying to juggle the two versions of self (the false surface level self and the hidden true self) in order to survive. 

They are now moving away from this feeling of loneliness and isolation. They head towards the Six of Pentacles which is all about giving and receiving so much love, acceptance and empathy from each other. They are helping each other to feel so understood, honoured and supported. Their wounds are healing and their true soul self is coming to life again.

The Sun

The Sun represents a profound spiritual breakthrough encountered by the twins upon meeting each other. It was the start of becoming more conscious, more aware that they are not their thoughts, but instead the infinite presence beneath their thoughts.

They felt such a deep resonance and familiarity with the soul (true) identity of the other. They felt as though they knew this person on a deep spiritual level without knowing them at all on the surface level. This strange yet beautiful phenomena catalysed them into the realisation that who they really are is actually the soul.

This profound eruption of light sparked from their union was the beginning of unravelling the mystery, bringing long forgotten truth out from the shadows and into their conscious awareness.  

The twin flames connect beyond the mask, beyond the fearful mind and thus, they remember they are so much more than they were once conditioned to believe. They realise, on a far grander scale, that they are infinitely more powerful and significant than the social matrix had them believe. The union has removed any last shreds of doubt about their true identity. The false self, the social matrix mask, has begun to powerfully dissolve on a scale never experienced before.  

The warmth of their bond is incredibly inviting and nurturing, their love melting away the loneliness of being stuck in falsehood as they come deeper and deeper into unity, peace and wholeness.  

After such a long sunset of isolation and confusion about identity, the sun started to rise again. Their souls were assigned to come together at this time in order to assist each other into full unfoldment, and in the process, help the collective to do the same. This is a truly remarkable bond with a highly significant purpose to help shift the energies of this planet into the New Earth.

The collective purging of karma is very intense right now and it can lead to bouts of depression, intense fear and feeling lost. This is what many people are experiencing right now all around the world. The twins feel they have found themselves again, found the truth, found God and they know it is their mission to emanate such truth, the inner sun, to assist with the awakening of other souls destined for greater realities. The truth (as opposed to the social matrix) is spreading like wild fire, burning away illusions and awakening the other lightworkers. The rippling out effect is beyond measure.  

The twins are united in a powerful yet serene warmth. Their unified love helps them to glow in euphoric vibrations, uplifted in a safe sanctuary of the heart space. This gateway  to the infinite self  located within the heart chakra is a "safe zone" to hold and support the twins during such a potent time of both collective and personal karma purging. 

In this incredibly healing space, they are taken care of by their soul family. However, this space is not to be mistaken for a "comfort zone" because, although it is deeply comforting to reside within during turbulent times, incredibly deep healing and releasing of karma still takes place in profound ways. It is a space for a much more harmonious way of releasing the karma. The safe sanctuary helps the twins to "smooth out" the journey during times when the inner purging becomes incredibly intense. 

The twins are immersed in the outpouring of the Universe's love. They now know confidently that they are not alone. They are very much supported. There is a deep understanding that everything in their life happened for a reason in order to get them to this point. Life now has deep and powerful meaning for them and they feel great relief and excitement in the new path of higher dimensional living that has been laid before their feet.

They feel as though they are in Heaven (for that is indeed exactly what is taking place) to have met the one who sees their core self beneath the mask, the one who "gets it" and understands them at a far deeper vibration. They can relax, open and unravel. What a relief!

They are now far more open, allowing so much love and light from the Divine to pour into them, full-filling them to the point of overflow. This overflow of light fans out into the world. At a deep soul level they feel nourished by such freely bestowed unconditional love as it transmutes karmic debris, changing it from a heavy suit of armour into a light and confident heart.

Through the release of such density, they are becoming lighter and more confident as the old pattern of survival is now replaced with the knew one of freedom, spontaneity, self-acceptance and strength. They are now much more able to face any adversity that would have, in the past, caused them to feel so much fear and trauma, triggering them to run away and avoid it at any cost. It feels so good for the veneer of fear to fall away, layer upon layer.

Seven of Wands

​The twins are choosing liberation over a prison of the mind. It is very scary and challenging at times, but no longer do they feel content to be so burdened by the pressures to fit in and conform. They are hear to spread their wings, show their light and be different in order to make a difference in this world. 

No longer do they feel so bullied by the social matrix, by others, by their own insecure mind. No longer are they giving their personal empowerment away. They've been given the green light from the Divine that it is okay for them to be themselves, that in fact it is needed of them to be their true expression during such challenging times. Great leaders don't step up for the love of power, but because they feel called from deep within themselves with a knowing that their true presence is needed in the world. 

The twins and the soul family give each other the support and confidence to weather the storm that initially presents itself when they go against the social grain. This happens in stages and they are by each other's side every step of the way. They've tasted the freedom that their union provides and they realise that this is powerful soul medicine and the true path into the deepest healing.

Right now, so much excitement is felt by the twins as the illusion of limitation is removed and infinite presence and possibility is unveiled. They are excited for the unfoldment of the New Earth, and extremely grateful that they were chosen to be one of the souls who can consciously witness the unfolding. 

Liberation is the direction we are now all headed in.
