Twin Flame Energy Update: The Real Surrender, 21st August 2019

Welcome to another twin flame energy update. It's been a busy few months but I'm feeling the calling to do another written reading. This time I'm using rose quartz runes and some of my son's story cubes, which work really well as a divination tool.

Please note: These readings may be triggering to some. All I try to do is open people's eyes so they can look more closely at themselves, their motives and how they are getting stuck. These readings are never intended to point blame or make anyone feel bad about themselves. My aim is to try and help everyone empower themselves by taking responsibility for their own emotional wellbeing through understanding their own actions and motivations so they can look deeper and break any destructive habits that are holding them back.

The Divine Masculine

​Othala - "Homeland" reversed clarified by the Cactus

At this time the masculine is feeling left out and like an outcast. For some, they are feeling this way especially with the divine feminine. For those of you in union already, they are experiencing these painful emotions when it comes to their biological family. But in both cases, the masculine's have spent their life feeling like the black sheep of the family. For those whom have gone through a recent difficult time with their feminine, they are feeling like the black sheep of your soul family as well. 

There's been an ongoing theme over the past few months of illusions and deceptions coming to the surface. Both twins have made mistakes, haven't been honest with themselves and have worn masks with each other. Both have regrets about past behaviour. Many feminine's assembled healthy boundaries because there needed to be time apart, time of inner reflection for both twins. The masculine feels embarrassed and ashamed of their behaviour (and many feminine's feel the same way about their own behaviour). 

The masculine's difficult upbringing threw him into the deep end of loneliness and despair. They felt different from the blood family around them and for good reason - they are different, they are here on a special mission of awakening and helping others to do the same.  It was a time of sink or swim, to get stuck in thinking the family abuse or abandonment was personal, or to awaken and realise it's helped them strengthen and awaken even further, for their loneliness isolated them deeper into themselves. Most sunk into the depths of painful shadow for many years and some are still travelling through the murky depths unable to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Some of the masculine's have emerged, wiser and stronger with a total understanding of why they chose to incarnate into such difficult circumstances - they have now thrived after their adversity. Of course, the exact same can be said for the feminine's who have gone through a difficult upbringing. 

Your connection triggers the abandonment and rejection wounds and causes a fight, flight or freeze response. This is why many twin's run or simply get stuck (again, the feminine's do the same). However, many have now learned to stay and fight their fears, stand up for themselves and honour themselves and their life. They are no longer "taking it lying down", they are getting back up time and time again and fighting for their truth. 

If there has been a recent physical separation between you and your twin flame, then some are feeling a sense of rivalry and the fear that your connection's foundation has crumbled. This is causing them to be powerfully triggered right now. They have this overall feeling of not belonging or not knowing where they stand with you right now.

For those of you in union, your twin flame sees you as the one who accepts and loves them for who they truly are. They feel your unconditional love and they are very grateful and relieved to finally merge with that oneness. They feel that you love them or know how to show them love more than their blood family can or do.

The Cactus
​

The cactus symbolises your connection holding strong no matter what's going on right now. It represents protection and endurance in harsh conditions. Your connection is strong and will withstand any arguments, boundaries placements and dramatic changes. Your connection is helping whatever needs to be released to come to the surface. 

The spines of the cactus represent how the DM tries to protect himself. This could manifest as harsh words, arguments, intense insecurities, making it difficult for you to get close. You may feel the need to protect yourself in response. But they needed to created this defence mechanism from a young age in order to survive their harsh upbringing. Trust issues will likely come up within your connection because you will undoubtedly remind them of their blood family in certain ways, especially during those triggering moments. This is because your connection is based on unconditional love and so these wounds can be worked through completely where the unconditional love will endure. 

At this time they may feel that they are stuck in the middle of a desert so to speak in respect to your connection. They feel like there's a drought, that the well of your love has dried up, or they fear it will. They are trying to store and hold onto your love deep inside of themselves. It endures.

​Dagaz - "Dawn" clarified by the Crown

The masculine feels the tremendous shift that has occurred in your connection. They really are feeling this as a new beginning. If you have moved away from each other in the physical, they are embracing the areas of their life they may have been neglecting when there was codependency between you. This is a very important stage in their healing. 

There's a feeling of a huge weight being lifted from their shoulders which gives way to much more emotional freedom. This is because codependency has fallen away in your connection. If you have surrendered the connection then they are feeling the relief of many of the DF's removing certain unrealistic expectations they were once placing upon them. They are no longer feeling boxed into an ideal they could never live up to. (*Please note I am not saying that twin flames or union are fantasies, I am meaning the various fantasy versions we can project into the connection based on our childhood wounding).

Union only occurs when we can love and accept the person for who they are without trying to change them to suit what we want. If certain aspects of them are a deal breaker then it's best to surrender the idea of being with them romantically and keep moving forward. Often that's when we learn to really accept them and love them for who they are - i.e. you still love them even though you don't need to be with them. 

Some of you have come into union and this feels like a blissful new beginning for the DM who went through many years of feeling stuck in that love drought, not just with the divine feminine but in all kinds of relationships, including with self. They learned to love themselves despite their difficult childhood, they graduated their lessons and were able to finally receive love. (Of course both twins need to be at the same stage of this for union to occur).

​The Crown

​For those of you whom have reached union, you have aligned with your soul sovereignty, represented by the crown. The masculine has united with his divinity on a whole new level. He feels like the king and he feels that he finally has his queen. He feels loved by you like no other. This is a time of victory, triumph, honour and glory. 

This is a beautiful new dawn for these masculines. You are helping them understand their worth on a whole new level and they are rising in their confidence and really embarking upon their spiritual mission because you have validated what they have already known deep down all along but doubted - that they are a divinely powerful being with an extremely important purpose to help others and the world. You are the person to receive them in their true divine nature whereas in the past no one else could see them in that light so they doubted themselves. You are the key that has opened the lock to their divine power.

​The masculine has "heard the calling" of the divine. Many truths have been revealed, many epiphanies reached. They had been stuck in their wounding for so long that they clung to their codependent safety net (again, as did many feminines). Once that comfort zone crumbled through a major upheaval, they could finally be honest with themselves and each other and face their fears. They have surrendered and this has created space for the new beginnings to come in.  

Those in union, they DM feels blessed by the universe to have finally united with you after searching for so long or watching you from afar. They are "looking to the stars" in wonder and truly grounding the spiritual side of themselves they felt they could not fully express before. You are the ears to truly hear them in their deepest depths and it's truly liberating for them.

The Telescope

​They are broadening their horizons, searching for deeper meaning and looking to the skies in wonder and gratitude. They are preparing for even greater shifts in their life. Comfort zones and things that they felt were an integral part of themselves have fallen away, drastic change has occurred so fresh new beginnings can unfold in a higher vibration. 

For those of you in physical separation, they are spying on you from afar and searching for solutions to come closer to you again. They feel the magnetism acutely. Finally, they may be taking notice of what the divine is showing them. 

​Thurisaz - "Thorn" in reverse clarified by the Camera

​This is the rune of pain, heartbreak and sorrow. Interestingly the cactus similarly has spines just like thorns. Again, it's about protection. They may have experienced such a traumatic childhood that their defence mechanism makes it incredibly difficult for them to open up to you. Many of them are quick to defend themselves and can jump to negative conclusions based on their upbringing. Their sorrow and pessimistic outlook causes them to distrust others. 

Some of them feel a lot of pain like a dagger to the heart if you've walked away. The abandonment wounds is coming up very strongly. 

But I feel there is an even deeper meaning to this. The thorn symbol also reminds me of Christ and the Crown of Thorns (as Crown came out too aobve). When Christ was crucified the Roman soldiers "twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on His head." This was their way of mocking him, taking a symbol of royalty and majesty, a crown, and turning it into something painful and degrading. 

The crown of thorns represents going though the painful journey of initiation into Christ consciousness, going through all the triggering to heal the soul and become an inspiration for others. The twin flame journey into enlightenment is incredibly painful at times, but you come out the other side victorious. 

Some of the masculine's (and feminine's) have tried to evade moving into the light because it means going through the darkness first. 

As a side note, some are directly fearful of being mocked by ignorant people whom would consider their spiritual beliefs to be too much of a "feminine" thing. Nothing could be further from the truth because it takes a hell of a lot of courage to stand in the light, to go against the grain and go up against such opposition.

This card signifies the spiritual gift of love that is on its way to you when you open yourself up to truly receive. The gift of sacred love can raise you up beyond any pain you have known and subsequent self imposed limits. Now is the time to venture out of the darkness of pain and into uncharted territory as you merge with the higher vibration of love. 

Life will seem more meaningful, uplifting and special. You will be moved by the beautiful perfection of the universe's timing and integration of this love in your life. You will recognise that everything had to happen exactly the way it did in order to bring you here. 

The card signifies the end of a period of suffering and the dawn of wonderful new opportunities. We have to go through the shadows before we can come into the light. If we want the beauty of the rose, we must go through the thorns. This is our initiation, our preparation to become ready to merge with the rose, the high vibration of sacred love. ​The Camera

They are reminiscing about the past with you and many are looking at old photos and pictures of you on social media, possibly Instagram. They are wanting to preserve your connection and are holding onto moments in time they feel are slipping away from them. Many of them are experiencing sorrow and have regrets about the past. They are wishing they could go back to happier times with you. 

Now lets look into the divine feminine's energies...

The Divine Feminine

​Laguz - "Water" clarified by the Potion

​​The divine feminine is delving even deeper into her psyche, reaching increasing clarity having traversed through a very rocky terrain of late. Crumbled illusions of the past have made way for crystal clear vision. She understands more than ever what unconditional love truly means. She's recognised how fantasies were blocking true union with the divine masculine twin flame. She's dropped the fantasy which had been her crutch for a long time, a subconscious way for her to protect her heart by not becoming "too real" or too grounded. 

She is feeling a deep pull into a higher vibration as she releases her attachments that have tethered her for so long in her comfort zone. The blocks, illusions, delusions and fantasies felt safe because they chained her and limited her to the energies she was used to of the past. The ego feels most comfortable in what it already knows. But now the blocks are crumbling there's no heavy weight holding her down. She's soaring higher and it's frightening. Many are filled with deep anxiety or they feel that they are "going crazy" but really it's the ego death, the rising into the higher vibration, the feeling of floating higher without the constraints. She's wondering where it's going to take her. It may feel like the panic some people experience with astral travel, when they are leaving their body. She needs to trust. She's ascending into a higher vibration.

In this higher state of consciousness she is able to access more soul records, more insights, deeper truths. Many are feeling restless as this transition occurs and there's a deep sense of greater spiritual purpose she's going to be embarking on.

​Clarified by the Potion

Some of the feminine's were caught under a spell or fantasy. That's not to say your connection wasn't real, but many unrealistic idealisations were being projected into the connection by most (some DM's did the same). The main reason for this has been due to inner child wounds; wanting our twin to love us in all the ways we felt our parents didn't love us. Our twin was likely emotionally unavailable just like our parents were or mirrored some other kind of dysfunction we experienced in childhood. 

We were subconsciously trying to get our twin to love, validate, adore, cherish us etc in the ways our parents hadn't. We were trying to resolve that deep wound and had unconsciously made our twin responsible for our inner happiness when that's not their job. They literally cannot make us happy and vice versa if we aren't happy within ourselves. It would have only been temporary at best if we hadn't healed ourselves. Of course the masculine's were looking to the feminine's in the exact same way for that love and validation. It's just that many masculine twin's likely experienced a lot of pain in terms of parents and society having unrealistic expectations of them. They never felt accepted or loved exactly for who they are right now. Many feminine's have been the mirror of that ongoing wound within the masculine to trigger it up in him. 

The potion can symbolism that some have literally been doing love spells to try and manipulate the free will of the DM. This never works in any positive way, and besides, why would you want someone who only wanted to be with you because their free will had been manipulated? Twin flame union is all about being in a high vibration, having union within yourself first, i.e. self love and not needing outside validation to know your worth. 

Others have been too reliant on tarot readings or seeking out guidance and information from mediums to the point of becoming ungrounded and out of touch with their own intuition. 

For many the spell has been broken. We had to release the dreams so that reality can truly ground in our life. The fantasies had blocked us, kept us living for the future and not truly living now. Any time the dream was threatened when our twin did something that didn't coincide with it, we felt powerless to feel happy. We'd placed our happiness on the idea that the fantasy was going to manifest exactly in the way our ego wanted it to. 

There was a major lesson here. For a long time the ego was seduced by the dream of how union was going to look (based on the inner child wounds). It held onto this idealised version for dear life. But then stagnation happened for a LONG time! The feminine's were stuck and stuck and stuck some more, waiting, twiddling her thumbs, pulling her hair out. Nothing was manifesting because the vision she held wasn't totally real. She was still looking to him and his love to heal her. There was still a lot of codependency. 

For many, the stagnation became so unbearable (because your soul wanted to continue growing and moving you in the right direction) that something major (and painful) happened to anger you enough to get you moving again! In most cases it was moving on! You were about to finally understand the lesson. To me, karma represents our illusions, the lessons we need to learn and until we fully learn and understand them, we get stuck going in the same circles, caught up in the same karmic cycle.

So many of you "threw in the towel".  And it's a good thing! (Don't believe those naysayers who judge you and say you gave up because you're an impatient brat!) No no no! What really happened is, YOU SURRENDERED! ..........FINALLY! 

Reality finally had the opportunity to come knocking at your door. You could finally ground yourself! You learned that being REAL is always better than being seduced by a fantasy. Why? Because when you're real you are living your life right now, you're not waiting about and constantly stressing, you're not tethering your happiness to someone else or their decisions or lack of decisions. You're no longer sitting on the edge of your seat, pricking up your ears and holding your breath for your twin to reach out, commit or basically validate you. Your life no longer revolves around a tunnel vision. You're no longer limiting your life by trying to focus everything into that one vision, that one ideal, that one fantasy version of happiness. Things no longer feel like a life or death situation! You're no longer having to stuff down that sinking feeling in your heart, the intuition that was telling you all along that you deserved so much more than what you were holding out for. (The masculine's deserve more than someone wanting them to change and not accepting them for who they are right now too). 

When you truly surrender you're no longer taking everything so personally. You're no longer being hurt left right and centre because this person COULDN'T be the fantasy that your ego wanted - it was keeping you trapped in the wounding. It was this person's job to NOT give you what your ego thought would heal you so you can snap out of it, know you deserve better, know your worth and HEAL YOURSELF through letting go. That's what you deserved. TRUE HEALING and wholeness. This person has always loved you in soul because they agreed to this massive task of helping you realise it and create it for yourself.  

When you go through this, YOU'RE FREE! You can open your eyes, say "fuck it" and throw it all to the wind. You go with the flow, you know you deserve to have only the best when you put in so much work. You see how you'd been fooling yourself and selling yourself short in many ways. 

You realised your own part you played in your pain in this situation! you realised how you were hurting the other person too through not truly accepting them for who they are but wanting to mould them into the fantasy ego version to suit you. 

​Tiwaz - "God Tyr" reversed clarified by the Shield

After the high of the fantasy of Laguz and the Potion the feminine's experienced what appeared to be a huge injustice which was designed to "break the spell" and wake her up. The lesson here was about learning the difference between true unconditional love and warped versions of it, i.e. having no healthy boundaries and being a doormat. She had to realise all the ways in which she hadn't been loving herself by putting up with things her intuition had been warning her not to put up with all along. 

BUT there was another MAJOR lesson here about unconditional love and injustice. She had to see that she wasn't the only one who experienced injustice in the connection. She had to realise how she wasn't being fair to the divine masculine either, how she was trying to control him and mould him into the fantasy version she thought would heal her inner child wounds. She had to see that it wasn't fair at all, that it wasn't his job to change and be what she wanted him to be. She had to realise that she'd had a warped sense of entitlement and assumed that her needs were more important than his, or assumed she knew exactly what he needed. For all this time she'd been indirectly rejecting him and triggering his wounds by not accepting him for who he is right now. 

She had to realise that she wasn't the only "victim". It's not the divine masculine's fault that he literally cannot become an ungrounded fantasy. She had to learn to be real, with herself, with him, see him for who he really is right now, be her true self right now too and not try to be a fantasy version of herself either. She had to take responsibility for her own emotional wellbeing and happiness. Now that's true freedom! 

​Clarified by the Shield

​She placed healthy boundaries once the spell had been broken. But she also realised something else very important... She could now see how her fantasy version of the connection had been her own shield to keep true and grounded intimacy at a safe distance. She'd been pushing him away with her unrealistic and unrelenting ideals he could never live up to. On a deep subconscious level she'd known that all along. She was setting him up for failure and subsequent harsh judgement / rejection (pushing him away then blaming him for his "running"). We see this A LOT in forums, YouTube comments and blog comments! So many feminine's are so angry at the DM without any true idea how they themselves are being unrealistic and unfair. Who do we think we are believing we know what's best for someone else and saying they need to change to accommodate what we want?!! It sounds so ludicrous when we really think about it! I couldn't consciously see it within myself for years either! 

Some of the feminine's have realised the errors in their ways and are truly remorseful and therefore forgiving of the divine masculine. They realise that in simple, a real connection could not ground from a place of so much illusion. It wasn't his "fault" or hers, it was just the wounds that blind us that were playing out. 

Many have dropped these ludicrous illusions. They've accepted that things aren't going to manifest into a romantic relationship and some are even relieved to release that idea because now, through being honest with themselves, they see how incompatible they really are with this person and always have been. What a relief to drop that whole energy of trying to squeeze a square peg through a round hole! The fantasy was resistance to allowing true love to come in on all levels. Yes, the soul love IS real with that person, but it doesn't always equate to blissful harmony and compatibility in an Earthly sense. But the lesson was learned through this whole experience. And that's the point. To learn self love. 

Once all the fantasies (resistance) is released, then the real, true, unconditional love can rise up from beneath such illusion. That's when you can truly appreciate your twin flame for who they are right now. You appreciate the deep soul love that exists and how you agreed before incarnating to help each other is such profound ways. You are grateful for the lessons, the preparation for you to love yourself in order to receive love and a balanced physical union. 

Some of you have reached physical twin flame union through this major shift. Through releasing the resistance, you have allowed what's right for you to come in. Some of you may be totally shocked at how fast it happened. It may be with this person you labelled twin for so long or with someone else who feels more of a true fit than you realised was possible. either way, it feels like a true union. 

Through the surrender, the feminine's have opened themselves for the real version of love. Love is love, and it was always present with this person, but it was just hidden beneath the fairytale versions that actually hold us back and keep us stuck. The real version is groundable. For many of you this experience with your twin / someone you thought was your twin wasn't grounding, and all the lessons that went along with it prepared you to truly value healthy and grounded relationships and become ready to attract that into your reality.

Many people go through a long period where they are turned off by emotionally available partners when they aren't available themselves. This is what many feminine's healed through this experience. They loved in the emotionally UN-available way, the "safe" way, the fantasy, until they were ready for the real thing. By experiencing the mirror of your own emotional unavailability, you could heal yourself and value reality, real love, seeing just how magical it is without the need for fantasy. It's magnificent enough in itself to not need any fantasy input. 

You see, the ego loves problem solving and creating a project so it looks for drama, it looks for a puzzle to solve, often an extremely complicated and messy puzzle. Everyone, on an unconscious level, wants to work for real love because it feels much better to feel like we earned it rather than it being handed to us on a silver platter. Some of you did this "working towards" and putting in a ton of effort to "earn" love with a supposed twin, then got the "reward" of real love with someone else. The reward was, of course, the realisation (through all the hard work!) that you don't have to work so hard to "earn" love, that you are already worthy and always have been. It's not about working hard to be good enough. All the hard work, that didn't pay off in the way your ego wanted actually made you realise that you deserve more than having to slave away just to be validated, recognised, loved. When your ego wasn't "rewarded" through it's efforts, you tossed ego aside and realised your worth. You were then ready for the real thing. 

This difficult and exhausting experience made you truly appreciate the real thing, real love, as opposed to the elaborate and unrealistic fantasy version of it. That's not to say that the real thing is anything but magical. 

Some of you may have gone through a period where the grass was greener on the fantasy side. It was a form of escapism, of getting away from something you didn't want to deal with in your real life, running from self, running from your pain by residing in your thoughts, in a "safe" dream world. In that cocoon you could test the waters and experiment with love and expressing your emotions. You could satisfy the ego's version of "love" with all it's drama, complications, theatrical wonder because the ego doesn't believe that such wonder is real, it thinks it has to make it up in order to feel special. It believes you have to become someone "better" than yourself to be lovable. But through this experience you realise that true and spectacular love IS real, there's no need to make it up. You realise your worth and therefore attract the thing into your life. You become mature and finally ready to receive love. YOU become emotionally available and anyone who isn't becomes a turn off to you. 

Hagalaz - "Hail" ​Clarified by the Snake

To me, the snake represents temptation. The fantasy version of love seemed so seductive and it's because it was feeding the ego. It was like a quick-fix to validate the ego without all the scary realness and closeness of a grounded relationship. (Of course this is just a simplification and there's sooo much more to these soul connections that just that!)

The snake is also about trickery. Both the DM and DF were wearing masks, pulling the wool over their own eyes let alone the other's eyes. Both were trying to be "more" than who they were because they felt unworthy in their true authentic selves. They were playing out simultaneously a deep soul love and the projected immature love that could only survive by feeding the illusions. The illusions weren't necessarily malicious in nature at all, but for some they could have been, i.e. blatant lies. But to me the snake in general is about us lying to ourselves and playing a role with each other. 

Many Df's consider the DM to be a snake. But some need to realise that they themselves were trying to manipulate their DM. Some feminine's tried to be a puppet master to their DM, thinking they knew what was best for both of them and trying to pull his strings in ways to make him do what she wanted him to do. I don't say any of this to place blame or cause people to feel about about themselves. All I try to do is open people's eyes so they can look more closely at themselves, their motives and how they are getting stuck. 

​Perthro - "Lot Cup" Clarified by the Satchel

​The DF's are seeing the bigger picture. They understand the sequence of events that have lead them to exactly where they need to be right now. They are now in a place of receiving everything they worked so hard to achieve. They are receiving what is divinely theirs. 

"Cup" makes me think of the suit of cups in the tarot, which is about emotions and love. The Divine Feminine is receiving her bounty in love. She is feeling so much emotional fulfilment. Because she surrendered  and let go of resistance (holding onto specific versions of how she saw union occurring) she made room to be able to receive true union. Firstly, it was within, through her increased self-love and the final realisation of her true worth, then it is reflected outwardly in the form of her counterpart. 

She is feeling a lot of freedom, a huge weight off her shoulders and a sigh of relief. She is broadening her horizons where once she was so blinded by fixating on a very limiting fantasy version of love. 

The Satchel

​The DF is now experiencing a lot of movement or travel as opposed to her previous stagnation. She is broadening her horizons emotionally and physically. But she takes her responsibilities with her wherever she goes. She has learned a lot, especially to do with being responsible for her own emotional wellbeing and also being responsible with how she relates to and treats another in order to not tread on their feelings. She is taking the unconditional love for her twin flame with her wherever she goes.
